Safe to Handle With Hands?

hi. new to the hobby so want to find out more. is it safe to handle those mushrooms, polyps and all other corals with bare hands? what are the corals that should not be handled by hand?

also for a beginner, what type of corals are easier to maintain and most hardy?

Hmm.. I think most corals are safe to handle with bare hands. Only zoanthids are dangerous if you're wounded and the zoanthid polyp is also wounded and oozing.. Anemones would depend on you personally. Some anemones have powerful stings that might leave your hand with some mild sensation.

As beginners i think you might want to try Mushrooms and zoanthids.Fanworms are relatively easy to keep as well.
