it be good to set up a powerful UV of at least 36w , if not if 1 tank has parasite problems, it'll spread to the next tank, so my tunze6060 went into ur dad's tank? i'm in the slow slow process of setting up a new 5x2.5x2 also.

yupp will be adding a UV in time to come, very busy nowadays, sch starting for me haha.. yupps ur tunze's in my dad's tank now, working like a charm.. :)

thanks.. my tank started off with very bare rocks, all brown and grey.. after abt 1mth or 2 the coralline just bloomed..

i attribute it to the high lights (8 tubes) and yupps, using a CR, because shared with my dad's tank.. :)

i'm still very new into this hobby, tank is considered very beginner to most of the senior reefers here.. i'm still learning alot as i indulge in this wonderful hobby.. cheers to all!

Hi Bro VT,

just to check do your blennies disturb the zoos? wanted to get blenny but my friend told me they might be sand dropper. Hence, didnt dare to try. Any recommendation for blenny? - 2 tone, midas, algae, etc. Midas is nice but seldom see in LFS. common one is the 2 tone, algae, black blennies. Also, in keeping blenny, must one have thick sand bed? Understand some will like to dig a hole and might cause landscape to collapse. Thanks for your advice. Thanks.

my scooter and my algae blenny dun disturb any corals, they're the most peaceful fishes in the tank.. and neither of them are sand sifters, so no sand bombs dun worry..

i believe u're refering to the engineer blenny? i think they're the only one that digs holes.. :)

yupps gobies dig, and most blennys are non-related to sand, i believe only the engineer blenny.. :)

bro Terryz, long time no see, how's your collection going..

It is just varient for the Blue tang.. It is reported that it will revert back to normal coloration after keeping for sometime...

I really love your scaping. Nice coraline algae growth there. May I ask what is the spectrum of your T5?
