Hi bros,

Due to the increasing prices in Singapore. I had started doing my water changes using purchased Sea Water from a LFS.

I think the price is ok. Around $4 for 2 20 liters jerry cans.

Now.. the seawater purchased was dispensed from the tank that was used in the LFS. That is to say the seawater is circulated (used) within the LFS.

However, they do sell pre-packed water as well...

just curious ... will those pre-packed water be of a better quality?

Any bro did a test on these water.

I had performed the test on the seawater i purchased. For any one whom is interested in the results can PM me.

P.S. LFS name is withheld on purpose as i'm grateful the LFS is providing such service.. just wanna check if i can get a better quality seawater from the pre-packed ones.

today, purchase seawater from another LFS..

touted to be not from the sea, but salt mix.. hence the "premium" price of $8/jerry can.

measured the params..

NO3 2.5

PO4 0

KH 7.2

CA 385

Mg 1110

NO2 0

Iodide - 0.01

Iodate - 0.06

sigh.. still not value for money..

i still think that getting Distilled water in the 19 litres form and mixing yourself is the safest and least troublesome.. :eyebrow: :eyebrow: :eyebrow:
