algae blenny, turbo snails etc algae eaters should do the job i think, but the root of the problem could be excessive feeding, overload, cycling stage of tank, using unpure tap water for top up etc..

my 2cents.. :)

i think my tank is still cycling while i have added nutrient to it, thanks :)

Snails and algae blennies don't eat red slime. Red slime, not really an algae, is actually a bacteria. Cyanobacteria.

Most important is to try and control the level of nutrients in the tank...ie, nitrates and phosphates. Then flow. If you can, try increasing the water flow in that area, although I can understand that'll be difficult coz you'd have to be blowing at the sandbed...
