Weird Tang

Can anyone tell me what kind of Tang is this? Couldn't find it over the internet.

Lol, Yes its white! I guess its a cross breed or something. Couldn't find anything on the web.

might be brown tang.. they can come in alot of colors..

but.. white tang... ahhh how i wish i own one..

This is a species called " white tang" ...nah....joking...but nice colors...albino tang??

Looks like a very sick yellow tang that is super-faded.

Sick? Don't think so. He ate like a pig after i acclimate him. He's now swimming side by side with my sailfin tang and my foxface, pecking on algae on liverock. Whenever he sees me, he beg for food! So glad to have him.

It's good news that he has a good appetite, it means his chances of survival is strong.

He does look a little thin though. It could be cyanide poisoning? Just speculating.

Hmm, Cyanide poisoning huh . Hopefully he didn't get those. Have to monitor him everyday.

dont have to worry if its an yellow tang

hawaii is DAMN STRICT on usage of cyanide

but it might be a brown tang also..

It should be fade yellow tang, i saw one in Reborn show tank before.

SHould be a faded yellow tang.. Not sure if its the same coz the photos not clear under lots of light exposure. I have one yellow tang which have been with me for years. Its faded yellow.. almost white. Surely not sick coz its big, fat and never gets ich.

lol.. sorry for the bad camera phone. Anyway, my tang is still alive and well. Still the greediest of all.

In my opinion it look like a tricolor tang any other opinions???

i'll go for a faded yellow tang. And a aged one. Maybe an albino tang, can happen to turtle, arowana, why not tang?

hmmm faded tangs usually mean the Lateral Line Head Erosion Disease or LHHE, will slowly die, try to feed it HUFA enriched foods or add a suplement like Selcon or Zoecon into your usual fish food.
