Hammer got slime

Hi

I need help.

I just got my self hammer and maxima clam yesterday.

- when I move it to main tank hammer created white color slime alot of them ( I dip in fresh water before put to tank. Is it okay?)

- BTW for hamer it should be under LPS or soft corol or somethink else?

- for the clam after 1 day he did have some think like sipder web is it okay?

When they are stressed, they released slime so it's normal. freshwater dip is okay but not really suitable for corals.

next time use iodine dip or coral dip which is much safer. probably ur coral is stress from the transport, change in environment(water,lighting...) and the dip.

Do I need to change water?

How about Clam as Yesterday is Open but today was complete closed and got some slime like spiderweb came out.

Are you testing your water parameters at all?

Yes, I do Test

Amonia is 0

No2 is 0

No3 is around 5

What else do I need to check?

Now for Hammer is doing okay now open very big.

what your lighting specs? Are u using T5? OR MH?

I use MH 150W for

30" x 20" x 24" depth

What's your pH, salinity, and Calcium level?

My Ph is 8.2

salinity is 1.023

But I have no calcium test kit
