Actually there is not a need for chiller for a 2ft tank... fan will do...

Get an aircon. Can chill both tanks at the same time.

problem is, after dumping so much fw into my tank, i begun to worry the amount of no3 and phospate i drip into my tank on a daily basis.

u do not have a refugium for ur tank?

I tink having macro algaes can solve this trouble. they'll absorb the NO3 and phosphate.

yah i have refugium and dsb, just don't want to add nutrients into my tank unnessesarily. i reckon the waste my LS produces is enough to keep my nutrient export busy. now with chiller, it feels so good to be able to escape doing topup on a twice daily basis!

Yup, it's good to have a chiller especially when have MH and all.
