Hi: Just like to share my marine tank. Appreciate any suggestions or comments. I still need bout 30kg of rocks so it look kinda bare. Should've added from beginning. Now have to add piece by piece (prevent armonia spike)

Your tank is simple and nice. If you are putting in more LR, maybe you should read the thread about eggcrates.

Btw, can you tell me the dimension of your overflow box and the diameter of your overflow pipe?

Regret la. should have went for 2ft depth instead of 1.5. restrict what I can do with the rocks. ai.... well give me an excuse to UPGRADE!!! Go 6 footer!!! Must get bullet first!!

I plan to fill the rocks to as high as it will go and cover the overflow on the left and maybe a little valley effect on the right.. Very ugly to see overflow.

The backflow pipe is 20mm and the return is 16mm bothe the holes are 20mm but the return I use a pvc 20 to 16 adaptor. The overflow is 8inch by 6inch and 22inch high

Dispar. How did you make a valley effect for your tank? your also 3 ft rite? I find it hard so little space.

i think width is nicer than depth....depth you have to spend more on lights again...depth you get more of the 3d effect....

if i ever have another tank..i will make it a 4x3x2(height) tank

Will add rock but next month. This month spend on chiller and MH liao. ran out of bullet liao. Must reload first!!

My dream tank is 6x3x3. but HDB cannot leh. Scared my tank drop into the apartment below leh!

Now planning either a 5x2x2.5 or a 6x2x2.5. But that a year away.

need more LRs for stackin the corals..

as for egg crates, suggest u get those PVC pipings

for the stand, its more stable, n u can use the egg

crates as base for flat LR. then slowly stack..
