there is no need to switch off the skimmer but one important note is to switch off the uv and ozone as it will kill the good bacteria from Bio digest

i think for your situation is that the bacteria is at work

any updates from users of this product? am thinking of trying... but promotion over le? boohoo....

From what I know ...it need 3~4 week to see the effect :whistle ! I have been dosing for 2 weeks+ and the effect is not significant so I have to carry on for another 2 week to see how isit performance.

Maybe need those long term user to make some comment lor <_<

hi james, according to the instruction manual, you can increase dosage of biodigest for quicker result. for new tank, you can even dose at 1 amp per 60 liters of water plus one more for the sump. no worries from overdose.

I think its safer not to do drastic changes to your reef if there is LS inside. I believe dosage of 1 amp per 60L is for new setup without LS.

I have already dose 2 amp 2 week ago but result yet to see :whistle !

Did your NO3 and PO4 go down?

I read in some other forums, the people there dose once per week for about 6 weeks when they just started to use prodibio. After that, they will dose once every 2 weeks. I takes a while for the bacteria to grow :whistle
