coral or 8 legged type?

and 8 legged type, don't tell me the blue ring octopus?

please do not keep those fishes. the chances of you getting stung and killed by it is extremely high if you do not exercise extreme caution

and even if you do exercise extreme caution, factor in murphy's law, and when shit can happen, it will happen. so yah.

Should be 8-legged kind lah, since he post the thread in the FOWLR threadm instead of reefing thread........ ;););) Anyway octopus if i am not wrong are not belong to the fish family and also they are invertebrate(correct me if i am wrong)...... Thus the only hard think they have is their beak and thus able to squeeze through small holes...

Yup.. It'll surely die without water but it can certainly live long enough to crawl quite a long distance..

Anyway, the main thing about keeping an octopus besides good water conditions is to ensure that it has no way to crawl out of the tank.. Beware.. Because they can squeeze out of very very small holes without bones!!

And if you're keeping the blue ring kind, they're like super poisonous so please do read up on them and practise caution..

Octpuses/Octpi are super intelligent and can even learn to unscrew a cap to get the food inside.. Thus they are good escape artists..

They eat nearly every kind of seafood you give them but do not have long livespans in aquariums.. Yup..
