Dear Reefers,

Am new to this hobby and have this question.

Attached photo is of my anemone (Anyone known the name?) and is hosted by a clown, the question is it normal for it to open so big? Is it telling me something? :erm:

:thanks:

Yes, how do you get rid of this pest? Got a few peppermints... just put in, would they help? Any advise?

happy reefing

If a man could beat his own fantasy. Then to only breed in captivity. Then its pointless.

Genesis 1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

It may seems to want some food. I used to feed mine with a small slice of prawn meat, or target feed with brine shrimp, smash pellets (soak with water or garlic). Don't over feed, otherwise it will spilt the rest.

Hi, sorry for hijacking this thread....

can id this for mi?

is the condition good?

i just bought it

Anemone looks hungry. I feed mine with small slice of fresh prawn meat, by bringing it to its mouth (centre of openning). Sometime, target feed it with smash garlic soak pellets. Move the anemone with rock to somewhere nearer to light and some distance of strong current flow. I kept mine about 2 to 3 inches below koralia 3. It stay there for the past few months or near a year.
