The next display tank had Smashing Mantis Shrimp or Peacock Mantis (Odontodactylus scyllarus)

They are found in the Indo-Pacific. Peacocks are one of the most colorful and aggressive species of mantis shrimp, and adults are capable of breaking glass. This usually happens when they are burrowing and hit the bottom of the tank, although they have also been known to break the sides of tanks when they are teased through the glass. They grow up to 7 inches, making them one of the largest species of "smashing" type mantids, and one of the largest common species in captivity. They are very interactive and can learn to recognize their keeper.

The next display tank had the Erabu or Black-banded Sea Krait (Laticauda semifasciata).....sorry for the blurry pic

The Black Banded Sea Krait, known locally in Okinawa as the Erabu, is a member of the Sea Krait species of snakes, and can be found in most of the warm waters of the western Pacific Ocean. This poisonous snake can be seen in coral reef areas.

Massing together near the shore, they breed between narrow cracks in the reef and in caves. Okinawans call them “Irabu,†and they are an important food source.

The next display was a tankful of Mudskippers (Periophthalmus argentilineatus)

Mudskippers are completely amphibious fish, uniquely adapted to inter tidal habitats. The Mudskippers in the tank were very active when out of water.
