right. still do not stinge on a skimmer. its probably the only line of defence you can have against biological waste in the water.

get the AquaC EV series. before that, go calculate how much water your tank actually holds, inclusive of sump volume. then find a skimmer that will match the criteria of the flowrate.

woah. skimmers have optimum flowrates. just like pumps.

imagine using a 10gallon skimmer on a 90gallon tank. you're underskimming by a whopping 90%!

so yah. get a skimmer that can match the amount of water in the tank.

judging from your tank. hmm. search around. not too sure on the specifications now.
