Will itch or whitespot kill the fish?

This morning i found out that my blue tang and PBT got white spots on their body... i immediately go pound some garlic and mixed the juice wif the food and feed them.

but at nite (just only) i checked and found the condition worsen!!

my other fishes are alrite..

(clown, damsel, seahorse, snails)

WHite spot already haunted me for 4mths.

Though I have cleaner shrimp, feed garlic food, most die, little remain.

Lower your specific gravity to about 1.018..do it slowly if you have inverts. Increase your temperature to 28-29 degrees. Continue with ur garlic.

Could try loaning or buying a UV-sterilizer. Helps to kill free-floating stages of the ich parasite. Becareful though..if you are dosing phytoplankton..as those will be killed as well.

my powderblue tang passed away this afternoon....

Ya, I lost my purple tang and PBT to white spots too.

Even with a cleaner wrasse.

Actually, I am not too sure. Is it better to separate the fish with white spot frm the rest? Will that stress the fish even more? I realise that everytime I remove my fish with white spot from the tank, it dies.

Yestheday i change water for the tank and in the afternoon i saw my PBT got white spots so i feed him with some garlic juice mix with his food and the white sport gone this morning i think it work

Seems like pellets soak with garlic is recommended by most but what if the fish is already not eating?
