WTB - Cerith or Nassarius

Hi Guys,

My current black cuke is getting to old to effectively clean and stirr my sand bed. Thus have to find some snails to help out.

Am looking for Cerith or Nassarius.

Anyone who have extra and willing to sell, please pm me for quick sales.

Dun like the idea of 2 sausage like thingy crawling all over my sandbed. With one, I already have many female friends going: "EEEEEWWW".

cerith n nassarious r tidal snails. may climb out n be cooked by lamps.

i just got home from the beach picking snails. I'll sell u 1 million snails for 10 cents the next time i go ea...haha

i recommend u go pick some Theodoxus (Clithon) oualaniensis . small n cute. i think no 2 snails have same pattern of shells.

I picked about 30 clithon snails, 30 small diogene hermit crabs n about 5 blue legged hermits. they are good cleaning crew.

Yah, seen some cerith climb. I have also had some that were totally comfortable in the sandbed. Will look into Clithon, you have any to spare?

You all should organize one trip to EC to catch the LS. I went there also during low tide to get some snails but that was quite some time ago when i was still young and alway having BBQ at ECP.

Find a place along any beach that has lotsa rocks, eg. at the breakwater, and you'll find lotsa snails.

can share how you clean them from disease or parasite b4 releasing them into the dispaly tank.

can't tell u where to collect them...they are all over our beaches n mangroves..scare too many people start go n pick them...ha i rem...10 yrs ago turban snails used to be very common..now....hardly find 1...lots of exotic invertbrates then...now..rare..if u are familar with marine life...u'll find them.

one hint...tanjong rhu area...there's a place full of fiddle crabs...in tens of thousands.

but pls protect out shores...our seas are not as fertile as b4...i no long see the beautiful animals.

1 beach used to have tons of sea cuke and sea hare..now...no more.

another beach used to have millions of soldier crabs...now no more also.

east coast used to be littered with "sea grapes, horse shoe crabs...now littered with rubbish..ha..
