Hi,

I just bought a Dymax Octopus Clip-On Metal Halide Lamp from Rainbow today. Just wondering if any of you have used it before and can share your comments on how reliable this lamp is. I forgot to check with the seller earlier and noticed that the light emitted is yellowish instead of white. Is this normal?

It really depends on the ballast.. but mostly MH shouldn't any bad. The yellowish tint is because of the kind of bulb.. Different kelvin bulbs give off different shades of colour. You can check on the bulb.. it should mention something like eg 6500k, etc. I'm not really sure but if its a 6500k, it simulates bright sunlight colour so should be white.

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

I used it before... the bulb that came with the fixture is pretty yellow... in fact very yellow :pinch: You can change the bulb anytime... look for 14000K and above :)
