chemicals

Recommended Posts

I am just wondering, i go into a shop and wow there are some many chemicals on the shell. So bros want to share how you feel about the products?

Like when is it useful, cycling, when introducting new corals of fishes?

When you have problem with water, PH, nitrate, NO2, No3, etc what do you normally use?

Or some of the things you use on a regulary basis, like supplement or preventation.

so many bottles which do i need?

After every water change I would normally add Marine Trace Elements, Iodine, Calcium and Vitamin Supplemens.. My dosage will be less than recommended on the bottle.. Been doing it for quite awhile and no problems so far..

During cycling I you can try the liquid bacteria (no point adding other chemical additives) but remember to off your skimmer..

And with regards to problems with water conditions, I would suggest a water change.. No point adding other chmicals which might cause more problems..

Blacknails.. if you do a water change, logically you don't need to add all these additives because the saltmix should have ample quantities of these in them already.

Its probably more for those who haven't done a water change in a long long time and have a lot of corals that may have depleted these trace elements.
