Hi everyone , i have a very unlucky day today. On 02.02.2008 at about 2100hrs, I was travelling along Yio Chu Kang link towards Yio Chu Kang Rd from Serangoon Ctl. I was on the third right lane of the 4 lanes traffic at the junction of Yio Chu Kang Rd. Suddenly a silver colour TOYOTA VIOS hit onto my rear side door , and so the driver signalled to me to move on and i assume that he will also follow my car and stop at the side. When i turn into Yio Chu Kang Rd , He suddenly make a turn into against the flow of traffic and turn into the slip road towards Yio Chu Kang Link and sped off.

And is also very lucky for me that my 28mth old son is sitting at the left side of the car otherwise......he could hv been hurt

I have also lodged a police report on this accident.

I hope any one of u if happen to see this vehicle . Pls call my HP 96373050 Ivan. Or anyone who knows people from TP/LTA who can help chk on car details?

I could only recall its a Silver Toyota Vios

number plate yellow in colour SGF84?2H but can't recall the third number

Black sports rims

I just hope i hv some luck tracing the car thru the post here....TIA

:thanks:

So sori to hear wat had happened to u but can u recall whether there are road camera along the stretch of road when the collision happened ?

If there is u can go LTA giving them all the necessary details n they are able to track back the recorded video in their system.

Good Luck.

Bro, thanks for your advice.....but what type of road camera are you referring to?

I know that there is a traffic camera at that junction traffic light. But no flash or whatever happen when he's turning into the wrong direction of the traffic at that time.

Some of the lamp post are equipt with road camera n r recorded every seconds at any time look at any lamp post nearby the vicinity . The 1 u mention is a camera if u beat a red traffic light not tt 1.

With evidence recorded on the tape will proof everything.

Good luck.

If i remember correctly, nowadays, for car accidents, as long as there's no one hurt/involving public property (e.g. lamp - post/ street lights), there's No need to inform the police. It can be settled via the insurance company of both parties.

Thus, in this case of your hit and run, my feeling is that it'll be at the bottom of their "to-do" list.

Currently, their focus is to catch those drink-drive cases during this CNY period with "Ring-Fencing"...

In retrospect, i share your pain.. It's just like those a**holes who left like multiple 'bullet hole dents' on my car!

Hope you can manage to track him down and make him pay. If you have the time, just try to 'hang around' the area of accident around the same time... visit some of the carparks there... Maybe, just maybe, you'll get to see him.

Will help you keep a look out for that silver vios. Not too difficult to spot (silver with black rims)

Got any bodykit or spoiler? It'll help...
