As above, fish around ~2inch size. Feeding well on mysis, brine and pellets. With me for close to 4months. Note: Its very agressive

Haha bro, actually it's nothing much la, we juz place 1 side of the magnet cleaner inside the betta box then let the other side of the magnet to stick outside the aquarium and place the betta box somewhere in the middle level of tank. Cause the betta box will tend to float on the top ma, so fish seldom will go in...but if its in the middle level, fishes will go in easily.. maybe i'll try to post a pic or something...cause my explaination quite confusing too..hahah

If the betta box is of the common kind below, then what's the purpose of attracting the fish into the box while having it positioned "somewhere in the middle level of tank"?

Yes its reef safe, bro tunicate...of course the betta box is not like that..haha... its those covered up completely and u can only open the 2 sides like a sliding door... so when the fish go in to eat, u slide the door down and TATA... u got it... haha
