get a Weipro. for the amount of money you stated, its probably the best one that will meet your budget. so yah.

get it from Petmart by the way. its cheaper there. the 2014 or the biggest one...was quoted to me at $65. I think the 2011 should be slightly cheaper. you should be looking at $50+/-

is it external? my tank is very small, n i dun like to see a huge skimmer in a small tank...

errr....skim more than a tank means like u can connect two tanks using a y-connector and pass it thru a skimmer, then the skimmer send it back to the tank via another y-connector....but i doubt they sell such things...

technically, you can skim two tanks. but you must ensure that the water qualities are identical in the two tanks. although its not advisable to do that. imagine the amount of pipings, t-joints, and what not you have to get. and imagine controlling the water flow from the two water pipes itself. talk about having to tweak with the water flow, just so that you can get a good skimmate. (=

Get a external pump, so everything will be external.

ya,,, price for the skimmer seems to be gng down..ard 2 ths ago 2011 was ard 65... btw yishun selling 45.00 for a 2011 .. is that cheap? or any other place selling cheaper than 45.00?
