WEIPRO PH-2010 PH CONTROLLER

Hi guys just bought over a fellow reefers PH controller n cr unit but i'm having problems setting it up as theres no instruction manuals for the controller and CR. Is the PH probe supposed to have the tip touch the water only? Cos it seems when i immerse it deeper into the water the PH reading drops a lot.

From my personal experience with American Marine and Milwaukee probes, you will need to immerse them into the water.

Maybe, you can try to soak the probe overnight in distilled water, clean with a soft cloth and try again. (Additional hint: When soaking in distilled water, the ph should usually be around 7)

If problem persist, it could mean the probe or worst - the controller, is a goner.
