what is recommended turnover rate for water

any idea what is the recommended churn over rate for the water in my 2ft tank? 15gallons.. so what pump sld i be using for my return? how many L/hr..

i think probably 2000 to 3000litres will be fine, depending on headloss too..

i use to have a 15 gallon with a 2000liter return.

really too strong in my opinion.

use 1000-1500 instead.

furthermore that tank side used with a SCDW will be nice. save you from using wave makers.

I think the recommended turnover rate is 6-10 water changes an hour. So you're looking at 90-150G/hour, that's excluding headlosses.
