The Northwest Shores exhibit gives visitors an inside view of the variety of habitats inherent to the coastal areas of the Northwest. Within each of the three habitats on display, Aquarium visitors learn how birds are able to use their unique features to live and thrive in their inhospitable homes.

I think this is a Marbled Godwit (Limosa fedoa).

This Tufted Puffin was moved to the Shorebirds exhibit so she could move out of the water more easily to rest. This specimen is quite old at 27 years old as Puffins live up 20-25 years in the wild.

This specimen has lived all her life at the Seattle Aquarium and is a mother to several Tufted Puffins at the aquarium.
