Dear Reefers

Have on hand a pack of Nature's Ocean Bio Activ Live Aragonite Sand to share with anyone who is just starting a new tank or for seeding existing system. The pack weighs 20 lbs and i will need only 10 lbs. will sell the other 10 lbs for $50. Pack still not open and will only be open on collection. The product is same as the one discuss on another thread except different brand. Its also a good way to see if the product really works also as mentioned in the other thread. Expiry of the pack is NOV 2004. Here's the pics. PM me if interested. Cheers.

The expiry date on the pack is meant for the life span of the bacteria in the sand. Apparently, they have a patent on the packing method that assures the bacteria remains in a 'sleeping' stage while the pack is still un-open. Once the sand is in the system, they will multiply on the sandbed. No such thing as a life span of bacteria after sand is in the tank. Price is bought from USA at US$40 excluding tax. Hand carried back all the way home. Half a pack at SG$50 is near cost price already. Main reason is to share the product with reefers and also i need only half a pack as my system is alreay up and running. Just trying to re-seed my sand bed that's all. Aragonite sand is expensive. SL selling aragamax dry sand even higher price. For properties of aragonite sand, do a search and you will appreciate the value of it. Cheers.
