What PO4 media are you using?

It's quite painful for me to keep changing the media .. and I don't recall me changing it that frequently last time ..

So now I'm asking what's the average duration so I can gauge if it's just me or it's the media ..

Dont think there is Pura PhosBan ... it should be "PhosBan" which is the Phosphate removal media from Two Little Fishies.

When to change depends on test result from the Salifert Phosphate Test Kit.

Yes Sorb 4 is very effective and long lasting.

actually it depends on your tank's load..

use both sorb4 and rowa.. currently using sorb4, but shld be going back to rowa after i finish my sorb 4.

I just tried Rowa after having used Sorb4 for 1 yr.

I find Sorb4 easier to fluidize TBH. Rowa particles are so much finer, it's difficult to adjust the flow so that the main bulk of the media fluidizes while the finer particles don't get sucked into my water. And this is after running the media through freshwater for some time...

But it works well.

think also depends on how much you put in. e.g. you can put 200ml rowa and change monthly or like me dump in whole 1000ml and now coming to 4th month....
