donkey dung

jus bought one over the weekend to help clean up my sand bed. the dung has climbed up the glass instead of remaining on the sand bed? removed it once and out it back below but still climbed back up? is this normal? wat can I do to persuade it to come down to the sand bed to start the cleaning process?

what size is your grain of the sandbed....

is it at least 1?

it should,

hopefully your sandbed will have matured enough to give the

cuke the nourishment it needs.

and please..

keep the cuke AWAY from any powerheads or sharp cutting

objects in the tank.

my sand size is 03 would there be a problem for the dung?

mine has been going everywhere except the sand! just be patient

Be patient. Mine went traveling for more than 1 week around the 4 sides of the glass before it decided to go down to the sandbed. Even now it spends more time on the glass than on the sandbed.

#3 might just be a little too big for it to swallow? but my donkey dung prefered the glass to the sand for almost the whole of the first month. since then he's been on the sand working all the time. give it some time.
