Hi everybody.....i am a newbie installed a MH lamp 16 inches away from the surface of the water......am i dumb or what ??? :cry2:

so far all the LPS corals i have kept are in prime condition...but recently been interested in sps and wondering how many inch away should the MH be from the surface ??? heard that sps require high light ??? so how many inch is the best for sps corals ???

Mayb u would like to advise us on ur tank details, water parameters......u r using 150W, 250W, 400WMH??? There is more to sps keeping than juz lighting itself. :o
