Hi fellow reefers, have some sponges and left over mangrooves from last thread to clear. They are indeed a good staff for nutrient export for my 5 footer. They had overgrown and cover areas of my DSB.

Sponges (light purple and yellow) selling at $10@ and mangrooves at $1.50@ but take <20 for $1@

Thanks for your healthy mangroves bro i planted a few in my main tank in the end. Upz for your thread ... guys if u looking for natural way to decrease nitrates this is it ... get some mangroves from bro thairun!

Oh no! bro, u are soaking the whole plant. The stem need a breather at least 1/4 of the length expose or it turn black and soggy in due time. Why done u use a foam like what am doing and float them. I bet there still space for them under the light. Or raise a little bit ur light. The root that count for efficient absorbance of nutrient, why not expose it. But u soon need a proper place when they start to produce leave.
