Can the softies be kept together in a tank wif hardies(LPS/SPS)???

i know i should place different corals a distance apart from each other...... but how far a distance should it be????? my leather is always producing mucus....... will it harm other corals????

read somewhere the mucus or sometime the transpanrent flim they produce is toxic.....but many pple have a lot of sucess keeping leather coral with LPS, it depends on where you place them~ try to direct flow to blow them away from the hard corals, not into them
