Thermostat setting needs help

Hi Guys,

I bought a chiller with a external thermostat from a reefer recently but dun know how to do the setting, even the seller. Anyone using the same brand can teach me how to set high and low, etc.? Attached with some pic, many thanks!! :thanks:

No manual supply?

You can try pressing the function key and hold it for a few sec

and see what will appear

6.5 * 2 * 2 + 3.75 * 1.5 *1.5,(Decomn on 14/9/08)
4*2*2 + 2.5*1.25*1.25 (Decomn on 1/8/09)

try holding the "SET" for a few seconds. i got a feeling thats the one to the Setup like mine. if ur's functioning the same like mine, than you will need a password. my default password was "111". its pretty idiot proof so try it.

If u want to set desire temperature...let say u want ur chiller to stop at

26...press set twice...it will show u setting temperature...just adjust it using

the up down button on ur left...after u set to 26..press "fnc" button..twice.

If u want ur chiller to kick at 28 and stop at 26...set it to 2 degree different...

press set for few secs till u see "CP"...press set...u will see "diF"...press set 1 more time

will see setting different....adjust using up and down button...once u set...press "fnc" 3 times

till u see current temperature...

u can even calibrate ur chiller to ur tank temperature...

press till see CP...press up down button till u see "diS"

press set..then press up down till u see "CA1"..press set...

u will see 0.0 (default settin)...press up down button to calibrate...

then press "fnc" 3 times...

for probe type selection...in case u need to change probe...

CP...up down till see "CnF"..press set...press up down till u see H00(!)

press0 for PTC probe...1 for NTC probe...

should u see E1 displayed.....thermostat probe faulty...u can try

select probe.....or change new probe.... ^_^

Hi Barnacle,

I press set twice to set the desire temperature, but I can only increate using up button, how even I press the down button and temp still remains at 26.8, do u down why? Is't the tank's temp already at 26.8 so i cannot set lower than that?

u can set the temp lower than that...using the up down button....

even the tank temp at 26.8...try one more time...and press down button...

when u set make sure u see 26:8...this show its ready for setting..

if u see 26.8..its the tank temp....can u see the diff...the '2 dots'??

ok...lets do it slowly...1st press set....u will see word "set"

then press set again...u will see setting temp...lets say 26:8...

ok..thats mean the previous owner had set the HSE and LSE..

HSE the highest set degree

LSE the lowest set degree...

in ur case the HSE is 27.3...LSE is 26.8...

so wat u do is...go to CP....up down button....till u see HSE....press set...

I believe it will show 27.3...so set it higher lah....30 should be ok

then press 'fnc' will go back to HSE...up down button again till u see LSE....

press set...u will see setting degree...my guess will be 26.8.....set lower lah

20 or lower...then press 'fnc'...till u see current temp. Now then u set the

temp u want....ok....cheers ..... B)
