How much should we feed our fish

Hi

I have only 2 fish in my 2 ft tank I am not sure how offen should i feed then? 1 fox face and 1 black demsal both are around 1" and I am feeding them with mini pallet.

Presently I feed them with 4 to 6 pallet per fish is it too much?

Please advice.

Hi Bro

The general rule on feeding is to feed what your fishes can finish within 1 - 2 mins.

For me, I feed my fishes base on what they can finish within a minute and 2 times a day except Thursday. Only feed them 6 days a week instead of 7. Never overfeed your fishes as un-eaten food will foul your water.

It is always good not to overfeed. However, 4-6 pallets per fish sounds too little for me. I would think go for at least double the amount and I would feed twice a day.

Sound like I have under feed them. My fish normally finish it in second basicly food never get to reach the floor.

To be save I better get a clearing shrimp around to clear up uneaten food as well.
