Those puslator or rotator are crap!!!

They are powered by the water force being pumped through them, so not only will they reduce your output they will get gunked up and stop working very fast. The gears get covered with slime and calcium deposits, snails climb onto the nozzle and calcareous algae grows on the moving parts, leading to it seizing up.

I've used one. Never again. I expect the Rio thingies to be the same.

All these rotating devices will fail in a marine aquarium. Don't waste your money. Only Seaswirl and similar equipment work.

The one at HL stopped working after less than 3 months in the show tank.
