Cucumber...

Hi PpL..

Was at CF today and saw this cucumber that looks like those black ones found in ML. However, it is pink on the top.

Anyone can tell mi if it is the same?? Does it does the same work as the black kind.

My tank has a lot of dirt due to mi placing the uncured LR with out scrubing them. Will the cucumber eat them up??

Can I place them in my tank now?? 3 week cycling starts tomz.. but my ammonia and NO2 already 0 liao. NO3 a bit high though @ 20++

Hmm... the ones i saw looks abit like tat one (Pic from liveaquria).

Anyway? can someone advise if they will clean those dirt left over by my dirty LRs?? And when can i add them in my tank as i am still cycling?? Are they hardy?

the colourful ones tend to die and release huge amounts of toxin detrimental to your tank. or at least thats what I gather lah.

From what i have learnt from here and other sites, only 2 types of cucumbers are reef-safe and recommended. the 'Tiger-tail' and the 'donkey-dung'. Pls correct me if i am wrong. Regards!
