I have a new 24g Nano cube (no chiller with fan only) that is in cycling mode (with LR) for 2 weeks now. In another week, I plan to put in some live stock. Need on some advice on what corals to buy. I want to buy something beautiful but at the same time reasonably hardy to survive under the care of amatuer like me.

Most likely, I will only keep 4-5 fish in it (Coral is more important for me)

1x Clownfish

1x royal gamma

1x Yellow-tail blue damsel

1x green chromis

1x spotted cardinal

I appreciate any suggestions of type of coral I should keep

I dont think goniopora is easy to keep for the long term..... they need higher nutrient levels as compared to other corals..

As in higher po4 and no3???

Bubbles are easy.Had kept bubbles as my first coral. But be warned they produce sweeper tentacles and most corals are sensitive to the stings.Hammer corals are also easy. What species of clownfish you want to take care???Clark's clownfish is the most easiest i should say.It will eat anything you give and they love to host on any long tentacle coral.

I too like you have the Nano Cube 24G with no chiller.

Currently have 1 Lemonpeel Angel and 3 small other fish with 2 cleaner shrimp(must hv, cause they can help to clear parasites on the fish at certain level)

Corals is mushroom, yuma mushroom, zoas, hammerhead and a star polyp. Still looking out for more colorful zoas and a frogspawn which shld complete the look in my tank.

I have a thread on my tank setup with pic in the nano reef section.

All the best.
