Dosing addictives vs skimmer

Dear all.

May i know izit wise to off skimmer after we dose addictives? Reason i asked is to my understanding skimmer will skim out the addictives espec if its the powerful type of skimmer-wastage of addictives.(for reef tank)

Anyone practise this method?

Which is the most economical addictives in market now?Noticed dosing addictives can be financially "sheong" for 6x2x2 reef tank. Currently using iwarna top up and trying grotech abc soon. Using deltex api702 and fr skim twin.My corals are not so vibrant and sm ptatas like goi kkk.

everytime in the past, when I have new water, I add in additives and skimmer didnt skim them off.

Dosing can be very costly.

That is why we try to source out for the same additive and share in bulk buying

to reduce the cost.

Well so far so good. i have seing bro earth tank usi only iwarna additive + gro abc and is damn nice. its very affordable iwarna top up since i dont hv cr. My only problem is getting the most affective + affordable additives for my 6fts.

Any recommendation?

hi reeftask-may i know what additives ur using?i remember reading sm where in this forum abo switching off skimmer especially when dosing iodine.

Wonder does uv light and ozoniser will affect dosing of additives?

We order when there is even people to share.(Minimum packing is 25 kg for every additive)

Common additive we dose are Calcium Chloride,Baking soda,Magnesium Chloride and Magnesium sulphate

Overdose is not recomend.It is safer to underdose than overdose
