The reason of asking is my previous Crocea clam was disturbed and eaten by the hermit crab, cleaner shrimp.

Hi, completely safe with hermits as i hv about 6 orange-legged hermits in my tank! Usually hermits and shrimp will not attack clams, unless the clam is oredi dead.

U can come view and see for yourself the number of hermits/ crabs i have in the tank, the clam is unaffected at all.
