rodmarine
You may wanna check out your vortech before selling. I took it apart to maintain it after noticing a drastic drop in performance and to my dismay i found that there is corrosion and rust!!!!!!! rodmarine
The answer isn’t encouraging; think he is suggesting you purchase a new magnet to replace. So much for the rusty pumps , think i ll jus store them and get the good old Tunze since they also have the batt input function for power failure. Btw someone in the other forum suggests that a "little rust" isn't doing much harm to a reef tank and will continue using those rusting pumps until there is report on a crash, think that comment is out of proportion and it contains a hint of bias. It also suggests knowledge of the problem before my post but swept it under the carpet. Those are really some “Frank comments†from a Tank of the Month winner.
