Shifting House

Hi,

I brought up this topic as I forsee this will be my potential problem in the next 1 to 2 yrs.

Can anyone that had already encountered this problem and solved it successfully, please throw in your suggestion here.

Ok the problem is : when you shift to a new home with new tank set up, how to migrate your existing marine tanks live stock, corals, LR...etc to the new home? Not forgetting that the new tank need to go through another cycle.....

Is there any profeesional mover on marine stuff ?

I sold off my old tank when I was moving.... the advice I got was to set up a new one... then move LS over?

On the other hand, excuse to get a bigger tank

i agree with belle. Sell off your old tank and livestock, but keep the equipment. You get to start all over again... isnt it wonderful ?

My friend went through the same situation as you. He sold off most of his LS prior to the move but "tompang" (hee not sure of the spelling) some of his favourite livestocks at another reefer's house. Then when the new tank is properly setup, he collected the LS back. Maybe you can consider it also but whether rental need to be pay or not will have to depend on your "landlord" liao hee
