Fat fishes

All living species on this planet require more or less the same physical fittness to survive except humans..... Ever heard of survival of the fittest? So, its not advisable to have a fat fish. Also its not fair to feed them till they are fat because you got a personal fetish abt the fat look..... :P

I think another point to take note would be the fact that feeding them too much too often might cause serious ammonia, nitrite or nitrate spikes.. There was once I dosed too mch coral liquid food in my reef tank and an ammonia and nitiate apike resulted.. Killing many of my LS.. That was awhile ago when I was still very inexperienced in reef keeping..

Other than that I think that fat fishes, althought they probably might not survive in the wild.. I don't think that they will do too badly in the aquarium. Besides, I think that if they get too fat, other fishes would be snatching the food away instead and so they will have no choice but to diet.. Hehe..

Anyway hope I helped lah.. Interesting question, though.. :)

haha....i dun tink it will cuz a spike...i only have 3 fishes(yellow tang, soldierfish and one cromis)

i guess i gotta keep my fishes in shape.

let them go gym :shock:
