purchasing if LPS from other country

HI can anyone clerify that is it illegal to bring in LPS from other country like Malaysia. if the amount is 1 or 2 pcs?

i remembered from previous posts from other reefer that LPS n SPS are not allowed. Pls chk AVA web site for details.

"All import of CITES-listed animal and plant species for commercial and personal purposes require CITES permits. A Singapore CITES permit must be obtained from the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) prior to the import. For online application forms, please click here.

What boss???I ask Shan before they nid a license to import it.But softies and anemones u can bring in.

I have asked the custome few years ago. They told me that its still a question mark. But they told that different officer has different view. So best I obtain a permit from AVA and customs as now the government is very particular about live things import.

Can tell me steps taken for u to take the license???Corals at Singapore also cannot take away.Ya after all those diseases and endangered species of animals.

yeah after Singapore decided to follow USA laws, everything have been over-controlled hence price increased on everything. Booming marine market started to go down.

After I have heard the officers said should check with AVA dept, I didnt proceed. Just too troublesome and I am not in this trade.
