SRC Member reeftask Posted November 19, 2007 SRC Member Share Posted November 19, 2007 You have to change water for immediate solution. Problem is you Ca too low. When your CR is stable, dont play with it.
SRC Member loster Posted November 20, 2007 SRC Member Share Posted November 20, 2007 your mg is way too high and that gives kh and ca off balance. what media you use for your CR? any mg media use in CR?
SRC Member mousecat11 Posted November 20, 2007 Author SRC Member Share Posted November 20, 2007 thanks guys for the reply.. i am using Deltec C+ as the media for the CR.. and did not dose any MG in the CR.. i am still strugging to keep my CR stable ..and not temple with it anymore.. and hope i can do so.. still pay around with the bubble count, and amount of water flowing back in the main tank, trying to bring up the CA level in the water.. SRC Member johntanjm Posted November 20, 2007 SRC Member Share Posted November 20, 2007 MG is fine. high MG will promote coraline growth. CA is low but not thattttt low funny thing is why is your DKH so high while pH is so low? good suggestion by dr.jekyl to check on the test kits. maybe its the fault of the test kit. is there a CO2 leak into your aquarium? that will cause the pH to drop. Now 650 ca, you will have to change water which is the fastest and minimum cost

sherman
Better check your SG level. Try to use a refractrometer or floating hydrometer.
