Cow Fish

I've kept my cow fish for about three months now and have been having problems with white spots growing on it. I've soaked it twice in copper solution to clear him up but the white spots are back on the fins within a few days after I place him back in the tank!

Does anyone have info, sites or advice on the cow fish regarding the temperature or conditions in which they're better kept? Oh! I've since transferred him into a smaller tank with one seahorse.. Been a week now.. Is that better or worse? :look:

Whoa! You mean they eat scallops??! I'm not too sure about that but will ask the others at the aquariums when I next pop by..

And those white lines are active bubbles floating from the bottom up.. the tank is still pretty new so it hasnt got scratches on it just yet.. Thanx for all the advice guys!! :thanks:

Yeap cow fishes do eat scallops.. They really really like shelled animals actually.. But mine enjoy other types of frozen food such as brine shrimp and have been eating them since young..

One particular aspect about cow fishes that has to be noted would be the fact that they starve easily.. And if you see a groove in their underside, it means that they have already starved beyond help already..

Yap.. So do feed them often like twice a day ok?

Hope my advise helps.. Just my 2 cents worth.. :)
