SRC Member chinmo Posted November 8, 2007 Author SRC Member Share Posted November 8, 2007 last time my LR also have the bubbles then i though its ok cause planted we always wan the pearl bubble. but after 1 week of bubbling my LR become full of algea. what i do is to reduce the lighting time or use a toothbrush to scrub it off. SRC Member zipp86 Posted November 17, 2007 SRC Member Share Posted November 17, 2007 hi bro, nice algaes, do take note that the halimeda macroalgae, or the "cactus" algae takes up calcium pretty quick, competing with corraline algae and corals if you add any in the future, if there is a lack of calcium it will die too, so maybe you must start dosing.. are you going to add any fishs?
