40 liters Nano Tank

Hi all,

I'm currently setting up a 40 liters nano tank and following are the equipment I'm using. Will post some photos once the Tank is stabilse. Currently going thru the cycle, in-order to shorten the cycle I'm using sea water and live Rock. Will update later. thank you :D

Equipment

Eheim Liberty 4042

Sander Protein Skimmer

Lighting 24W white light

Hydor blue LED light

Tank Dimension

34cm x 33cm x 38 cm open top

40 litire

Live Stock

Rock (4 kg of Live Rock)

Wah bro ur lifestock added abit fast ahh..... careful abt ur water parameter.... i used to have a 1ft by 1ft by 1ft tank. everyday have to top up water if not the salinity fluctuates a lot. in then end give up cos going to australia for studies

Thanks jasyu, Yes I agree need to top-up water everyday. As I added a fan to cool the water. Manage bring down the temp to around 27.6 C, but the downside is water evaprote very fast being topping up water every day.

Care to share how long you have kept the bicolor angel? Did it harrassed your corals?

Hi Bro,

The bi-colour angel is bought recently, only in my tank for 5 days. So far never bother the coral. thank for viewing.

Nice setup. . . but came across some info saying that Bi-color angel can grow up to 6" & need a min 30G tank. :unsure:

Eh bro, i seldom comment but really overcrowding lah. Even if all goes well..ur softies going to get all squashed up against the glass when it fully expand..if it does.

Hope you are running carbon and other good quality filtrates.

Why not try an anemone + a pair of clown :eyebrow: very swee and zen.
