Busted screw

Any one knows how to undo this screw? The screw well is destroyed. I tried superglue but it doesn't bond well.

The screw is counter-sunk, the rectangular thingie is a button.

Thanks anyway, cause while I was messing with it, I broke the retainer below the button, so the whole thing has to be replaced now.

That's an allen cap screw. You need to drill it out using a drill diameter slightly bigger than the screw thread diameter. The other way is to use a counter punch or screwdriver using it as a chisel to try to turn it counterclockwise.

If it is a mild steel screw then drilling it is no problem but if it is stainless or hardened then may be more problematic.

Tried epoxy but it doesn't bond very well with that metal. The screw is very small. I've stopped trying to get it out and got some spare parts instead. This little screw did a lot of damage. :angry:
