Hi Bro,

I have used it before on my previous 2ft and 3ft tanks and I find it suits my needs to the T.

When my wife's uncle wanted a cheap, small, reliable skimmer that consume minimal electricity for his 4ft tank with hardy corals - he settled for the biostar flotor even when its recommended tank size by Aqua Medic is only 65gal. He too is happy with the performance.

FYI, Aquamart is not in Jalan Besar anymore, they are moving to Joo Chiat earlier this month. Please check yellow page,s I was also dumb founded when I went to Jalan Besar last week.

OMG! I was having prawn noodle opposite 2 weeks ago and never notice anything.... :shock:

biostar flotor is a good product. highly efficient, quiet... just that the rotor might be a nitrate build up in a while.

u might be able to get the biostar flotor from Aquamarine. call them up first

2x1.5x1.5 tank

Lighting: AI hydra 52HD

Skimmer: Deltec SC 1455

Reactor: Minimax; rowaphos

Skimz  ; NP biopellets

Wave Maker: MP 40 WQD

Return pump: Eheim 1262

Chiller: Arctica 1/10 hp
