Diy fan hood..

ermm... i was juz wondering how would i place my fan for my 4 ft tank... i got this idea dunno is it practical anot.. advise plz..

the holes are for the fans to suck in wind... and it is like a diy light hood juz tat it is for fans... it is the best i can draw...

huh? you mean the fan hood covers the entire top of your tank issit? so below it is your lights? if so then it can work but the fans should be ###### air out and not blowing air in.

for better ventilation..

good idea. but if I were you, I'd try to put one fan at least to draw the air out. in that case, it prevents you from having a warm pocket of air inside. unless you tell me you have air vents that allow the warm pocket of air to escape

always work in this policy

warm air rises and cold air sinks. so yah. pushing the air out will be good as it goes with the laws thermal convection. (=
