QN: I'll be cutting a hole on my cabinet in order for pipings for the tank to link to the sump below. How should i cut the hole? .. a single rectangle, covering all four holes; or four separately holes bored each for individual pipe?..

Criteria:

1. Which method will be easier to plump subsequently?

2. Which will be easier to cut on the cabinet top? (I got tools for both methods)..

Any recommendations?

Thanks

Hint:

better to have a male and female set for each ends of the pipes for unions.. Reason being if ever you need to change the configuration.... you'll just need to get 1 union instead of 2 (if you used a male-male config or female-female config)..

Hope this helps

Yup. believed enough because of the depth (only 12").. 10mm enough and its euro braced. Used to run a tank with 8mm glass for a year.. ok also... as for the formulas and numbers... me not so technical.. ^_^^_^^_^ .

maybe i will know the answer if it crashed next time. but until then.. will have to keep fingers crossed...

any bro/sis to comments?

Looking at ways to hang my T5.. need some reccomendation..

Idea is to satisgy the following:-

1. "Cool" Factor.. as tank is in living room. looking at something that does NOT look "industrial" look. (ie aluminium structures)

2. As my tank is probably around my waist level.. looking at an idea where i can raise or lower the t5 fixture.

any ideas?
