Clown fish and anemones

Recommended Posts

Carpet anemones in the wild are found in veryvery fine substrate. Grade 0 sand would be best..they will anchor themselves in your sand bed. Not really considered reef anemones.

Always something more important than fish.

Cool, I am using grade 0 substrate. Any people have one to let go or seen one around?

You can drop by at ML and check it out...I saw a purple carpet once..

Definitely worth waiting for a carpet like that...why get a common one while regretting later? Your clown will be able to wait..

you wun wan a carpet unless you wan a clownfish tank... even clownfish are not safe with them... Black clownfish can be found a CF from time to time... not cheap but rarely see all black one in SG...

That's right. I am setting up a clownfish tank. :)

Currently I have a tomato, 2 golden banded maroon, and a sabae clown. All having their own anemones and not bothering one another, except the sabae that is.

:)

So carpet kuppo fish too?

My previous carpet ate my mother's blue tang... she kept nagging at me...LOL... if it is a clownfish tank den no prob getting a carpet depending on your tank size... carpet can expand 2-3 times their size...
