hi to all bro,

I got a question about my sand. It's very different from the one inside my sump tank. I mean the colour of it had changed to red/brown on the surface, created a lot bubble on the sand itself. The one inside the sump look the same as day one. So is this okey or is the bubble poison gas? Tks

I think its cyano. Common for new tank setup. Hope the weblink helps.

try to leave your light off for 3 days and it will clear off by itself .

beware if you have sps. try to search on this on reefcentral.com

i did try this myself and it does work for me

mmm..........u r rite too, i had trying to solve the root of the problem......actually i think is there any inverterbrates or fish that eat this algae? any reefer bro got try this before? i also added a wavemaker for a better circulation. Tomorrow i intend to change 10% water n monitor this another week.
